There are two honest ways to obtain something. The first is by working for it. The second is by receiving it as a gift. In our final message on the special titles the New Testament gives to God we will learn that God is a giver. It is his nature to be gracious, he is the God of all grace. He gives to people what they do not deserve and have not earned. We'll see what that means about how we relate to God, and how we think about our own efforts to gain things from him.
