In our rushed society it is hard to get the rest we need, whether physical and emotional rest. In this passage in Mark we see Jesus dealing with exhaustion and pressure in a positive way. Unfortunately his good plan doesn't work out. The rest he planned for himself and his disciples had to wait. His response gives us an example to follow when our good plans are somehow interrupted or forced to be put on hold.
