Elijah was a man with a nature just like ours (James 5:17), and nowhere is that more evident than in the event we'll focus on in this message. How a man of God could get into a situation like we find Elijah in may not surprise us all that much if he truly shares our nature. But this incident is not so much about Elijah, but about God, and how he treats us when we are where we shouldn't be like Elijah was.
